VENICE BEACH—IT’S ON! 
We are thrilled to invite you to be a part of our 6th Annual Back 2 School Festival: Coastal Clean-Up & Fire Relief Edition, a community-driven event designed to empower and uplift our youth while also promoting environmental stewardship and support for those affected by recent fires.


Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 23, from 10 AM to 2 PM, as we gather at the vibrant location of 1800 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291. This event promises to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, learning, and community engagement.

We’re showing up BIG with an impressive array of offerings to ensure every attendee leaves with valuable resources and a sense of belonging:

• Over 1,500 FREE backpacks filled with essential school supplies to prepare our students for a successful academic year ahead. Each backpack is thoughtfully packed with items that cater to various grade levels, ensuring that every child has what they need to thrive.

• A generous distribution of 250 FREE Marathon Burgers for youth, providing delicious and nutritious meals to fuel their day of activities. This initiative not only nourishes but also fosters a sense of community as we share meals together.

• Access to free diapers, food, and essential resources for families in need, ensuring that we are supporting not just the youth but the entire community. Our aim is to alleviate some of the burdens that families face, particularly as they prepare for the school year.

• An exciting activation featuring LA Rams Youth Flag Football, where kids can engage in fun, interactive games that promote teamwork and physical fitness. This is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn from experienced coaches and participate in friendly competition.

• A Skatepark Takeover featuring the renowned Pali Skates, where skateboard enthusiasts can showcase their skills and learn new tricks. This area will be buzzing with energy, providing a platform for youth to express themselves through skateboarding.

• A dedicated School Village where attendees can meet educators and learn about various educational programs available in the community. This is a great chance for parents and students to connect with local schools and resources that can support their educational journey.

• Health Vendors will be on-site to provide access to dental, wellness, and healthcare services, ensuring that families have the opportunity to receive important health information and screenings. Our focus on health is paramount to fostering a thriving community.

• Exciting raffles every 30 minutes, offering attendees the chance to win fantastic prizes and giveaways. This element of surprise adds to the excitement of the festival, encouraging participation and engagement throughout the day.

• A vibrant atmosphere filled with art, music, youth performances, and more, creating a celebratory environment where creativity and talent can shine. Local artists and performers will take the stage, showcasing their skills and providing entertainment for all ages.

• A Coastal Clean-Up initiative, where volunteers can come together to help beautify our beloved Venice Beach. This effort not only enhances the environment but also instills a sense of responsibility and pride in our community. Additionally, a Fire Relief Support Zone will be available to assist those affected by recent wildfires, providing resources and support to help them recover.

We’re giving back, building up, and coming together as a community to support one another and create a brighter future for our youth. This festival is more than just an event; it’s a movement towards unity, resilience, and empowerment.
